Getting Better Regardless of Fibroids. 🌿

At 35 years old, I had never experienced the joy of pregnancy. For years, I lived with the heavy burden of fibroids that seemed to control every part of my life. The largest one measured a staggering 11.4 cm, pressing against my body and causing severe pain every month during my cycle. Some days, the pain was so intense I could barely get out of bed. The constant discomfort and the visible bulge made me feel self-conscious and trapped in a body that didn’t feel like mine. I lost confidence, and with every painful cycle, a part of my hope faded away.
One quiet evening, while scrolling through Instagram, I came across an ad for DONMama. I paused. Something about the way the ad was relatable and the message spoke to me. I was skeptical but desperate for change, so I reached out and sent them a message. I wasn’t even expecting a reply that fast either.
From the very first conversation, DONMama was honest with me. They told me this wouldn’t be a miracle overnight. It was going to be a journey—one that demanded patience, faith, and dedication. It wasn’t what I wanted to hear at first, but deep down, I knew this was what I needed. I was ready to try, ready to believe in my body’s ability to heal.
Twenty weeks into the program, my life has changed in ways I never thought possible. My fibroids have shrunk dramatically, and some have even vanished completely. The heavy bulge that weighed me down physically and emotionally is gone. The relentless pain that once ruled my days has softened to a gentle reminder, manageable and less frequent. I feel lighter, freer, and for the first time in years, my confidence has blossomed again.
I’m still not pregnant, but I’m no longer defined by what I lack. Instead, I am defined by my strength, my healing, and my hope. I look in the mirror and see a woman who is reclaiming her body and her life. As I told DONMama recently, “I’m not yet pregnant but I look so much better—I don’t have a bulge belly anymore and my confidence is so high again. I will always talk about DONMama.”
This journey isn’t over, but I’m no longer afraid. I have found a path of natural healing, and with it, I’ve found myself again.
